SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm about to go crazy! I need some answers!!!!!!!!!!
My baby was locked up in county on 4-05-07 and then
my fiance went to Diagnostics @ Pine Bluff, AR on 7-25-07
my questions are>>>>

1) Where do I get the visitation application from?
2) I had a bogus contraband charge back in 1992-93 that I was on probation for and paid off.....Will this stop me from having visitation priveledges?
3) I am currently on probation for bad checks which I am paying of faithfully every month.... Will this pose a problem for visits?
4) Will it help if I have my Probation Officer write some type of letter saying that it's okay for me to visit my fiance`?
5) How long does it take to be approved in order to visit your loved ones?If anyone has helpful answers, PLEASE REPLY.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
This is all new to me and I don't know where to start.

Sorry I somehow missed your post until tonight. I know it is hard being seperated but please know together you can survive. It takes a lot of work and dedication but you can do it.
I think he can mail you the form, then you mail it back to the address on the form, not to him.BUT you can call the unit he is at,ask for visitation clerk and ask them.It will take a week to 6 weeks to get approved, all depends on the people who are doing the process. The warden at his unit will be the one to approve you.If approved your man will be the one to let you know, the visitation clerk will let him know.Your probations can very well keep you from visiting, again that will depend on the Warden. Some people have been allowed and others denied,so I hear.I would say it possibly could help if your PO sent a letter, couldn't hurt.I think I answered everything I could for you.But you did not mention phonecalls...he will need to put you on his calling list and from there you will have to deal with the phone company and there are a few different programs they offer. There is a post on here with all the phone information you will need.Good Luck to you & yours Kitty

Are you married? If not your previous history and ongoing probation are going to make you ineligible. period. If youre his wife, you MIGHT get to see him w/alot of wrandling and waiting and a BIG push from your probation officer. The units won't mail out visitation forms. You have to get it from him. Kittys right, you can do this but you need to get a grip and prepare for more frustration, etc. than you have maybe ever experienced. Good Luck. Please PM me so I can give you our web site and get his info so we can send him an intro letter. Maybe we can do something to help make this time easier. Hang in there.

Thanks so much for the information. I'm hoping that my probation officer will give me a letter so I'd be able to visit. This is one of the hardest things that I've ever had to deal with in my life. My baby has missed every holiday since Easter, an more importantly my birthday on the 11th and our 1st Anniversary being together on the 29th. I'm glad that I ran across this site because it has been very helpful.
Again Thanks for everything.
