hi...my boyfriend just got locked up last monday for violating state parole and there's so many questions i have and that i'm clueless about...first of all he was in san joaquin county jail for one day and then got transfered to tracy to DVI and that's where his been ever since but what i would like to know is how long do they keep them in reception and how long does it take for them to find out the amount of time they're going to be locked up? the thing with him is that he doesn't have any charges but violating parole and also he had like a month left to finish his parole...does anyone know what might happen to him?:confused: :confused: :confused:

If he truly only has a month left then he will most likely finish it at DVI. If he had new charges, he would still be in county. From what I understand they cannot keep him longer than his parole if it just a violation. :)
