Does anybody know about halfway houses in Topeka? At release, does the inmate go to a halfway house first or are they just on their own? Thanks!

I think whether or not they go to a halfway house depends on their pre-release plan. Before they get out, they have to have a plan upon release. I think the ones who need more intense supervision or have no where to go upon release go to halfway houses. Sorry, I don't know anything about the halfway houses in Topeka.
