My boyfriend was pulled for a traffic violation that led to him being sent back to camp lejeune due to the military wanting him. He ended up getting back to camp lejeune on June 27th where he was told that he was going to be charged with desertion because he did not properly check out at every station when he was released at the end of April. That charge was soon dropped to an unauthorized absense and currently his paperwork for seperation is being processed. It has been a month since he has been there and he still has not seen his lawyer. I have called his lawyer several times and still have not received a call back. Is there any way that I can request another lawyer for him being that the one assigned to him is so busy?? I really didnt think my boyfriend would have been in the brig this long. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated? Thanks
