did you receive collect calls from Rikers? If so was he calling your cellphone or a land line? you can receive collect calls from Rikers only through a landline and also if your phone service has this option. Anytime my husband has called collect it say that it's a sprint operator.

You can only accept collect calls to a landline and it does come from sprint. You have to have sprint activate the feature on your land line phone before you can accept calls. If the calls have gone through then you probably dont have to do anything. The rate is 5 dollars and change for 15 min phone calls to any local number coming from rikers island.
