I want to apologize for not being around this forum for awhile.
We got hit by Isabel a couple of weeks ago, and originally thought we came out with minor damage to the house.
But, those around us were hurt badly, though I have been on PTO and have occasionally posted, Linda and I have been busy cooking for neighbors who do not have power.
The last houses in our neighborhood to have power turned on, got it back at 8:00 PM last night.
Our house was more extensively damaged than originally thought. It looks fine on the outside, other than some missing siding, however, we did have some damage inside the walls from rain and wind.
We are going to have to demolish a second floor balcony to the house. Found that out today.
We may have to have a roof that was installed last May tore off and replaced if it cannot be repaired, don't know about that yet.
Plus, we are just plain exhausted!
So please, be patient, for I will be back.
