Hi Everyone, I'm back from my WONDERFUL 4th of July Visit...I know I promised pic's and how everything went...Just another day or two, until my new scanner arrives...In the meantime, I just received a call from my guy and he was finally classified and they moved him to a level 5. He is so depressed and I'm so worried about him.:( He has never been in a place like this...he was only in a level 4 in Mass.
I looked for infomation on the facility where he was and this 'virtual tour' info. popped up. I thought I would share it with you all... http://www.vadoc.state.va.us/facilities/360/360_cell1.htm
(Depending on the speed of your processor, it could take a minute or two to download the 'tour'.) It's soooooo depressing!

On big favor and request....will you all please keep me and my sweet guy in your thoughts and prayers on July 25! This is the day that MA. will review his status and consider my, his, and his lawyers request to move him here to Ct. Connecticut has an interstate agreement with Massachusetts so he very well could be transferred here if we pay for the transportation. I've spoken with the chief adminis. who is in charge of making these decisions and she actually called me to remind me to have this request in writing before the 25th and to make sure I spoke with him about it at our visit...so hopefully this is a good sign. But I'll feel better with thoughts and prayers from my PTO friends!
Thanks, pic's and story should be here by the weekend!!

Pam: thanks for the link! on seeing those cells, i continue, to this day, marvel at how anyone can live in one of those god-awful things and maintain. those cafeteria tables must be mass-assembled! they look just like the ones i'm used to at wci!

you KNOW you and your friend are in my thoughts!!! i am hoping beyond belief that his transfer happens, honey! *hugs*

Not a bad cell. They get a chair though, I have a feeling that chair won't last long, & boxes to keep their stuff in is cool. It may be just because they use a wide angle lens but it seems a little larger than most cells, but that may be for PR purposes. Cells are so much better than dorms.

Pam, you & your guy are in my thoughts & prayers, it would be great for them to transer him close to you. Good Luck on your hearing on the 25th.------Ken
