Pictures of our drive through South Dakota and stop at Mt. Rushmore

and the hail storm that did lots of damage to my rental van!!

The pictures of South Dakota almost make me homesick. I was raised there from the time I was 11 until I was 19 and then left. Dang it seems like my life of hell was way more than 8 years. One day I would like to go back and say "how do you like me now?" LOL

Those pictures are so great! That's one trip that I hope I'll get to make before too many more years go by. Did you get to see that enormous statue of a famous Native American on his horse? -- I've forgotten his name. I believe it's in the same general area and the artists have been working on it for years and years.

As far as Mt. Rushmore's famous four -- it looks as if there's still room for Hillary in the future. You never can tell. Thanks so much for sharing.

Lo, it was 1957 In April I was on a train going from Tenn to Oregon with my 21 mo old daughter when i saw those famous faces!! Haven't aged a bit!!
