Thank you to everyone on the Ventress Forum for all your support. My son is home now and out of this place. He walked out Monday with a bag of mail. I asked him was that all and all he could say was "I did not want anything that reminded me of this place and there were people that needed my things a lot more than I do." I could not walk fast enough to get in the car. We drove away and no one looked back. He is doing fine, just a little quiet. He seems to welcome talking to us at anytime. He has vaguely told us of things that go on. He can't seem to get enough to eat. He has ate constantly. But, that is OK. He has slept very well. The first night he said he woke up a few times because it was so quiet. He said sleeping in a nice clean bed and taking a shower in privacy was nice. He said he wanted to watch TV when we got home so he could watch anything he wanted to. I will stay in touch. My prayers are with you and your loved ones.
