teajai71 07-10-2007, 04:20 PM Coming from Los Angeles, I take 101 all the way up. I get on the 101 N in Hollywood and get off at CTF. From my driveway to the prison is 309 miles.
Hope this helps!!!

Where are you going to be coming from? Let us know, and I'm sure one of us can help with directions.
The prison is right on Highway 101, 5 miles North of the town of Soledad. The exit sign just says "Correctional Facility." Let us know where you'll be driving from and one of us can definitely give you specific directions.
How exciting!!!!
krummy 07-10-2007, 04:47 PM mapquest will not give directions with a p o box you must use the physical address. go on to the internet and look up the prison your boyfriend is at. Get the physical address and then put it into mapquest to get directions

Mrs.Renteria 07-12-2007, 06:54 PM First Off-let Me Tell You :you Are So Very Lucky !!!i Dream Of The Day When I Will Finally Be Free To Love My Love ...the 101 N Has Lots Of Curves/turns , Atleast Thats My Opinion , I Have Tried A Different Route: Take I-5 North , Turn Left Onto Ca-46 Paso Robles Hwy. Continue Driving For About 63miles , Merge Onto Hwy 101 North , Keep Driving Until You Get To Soledad , You Will See The Prison On Your Right Hand Side . I Like This Route Better Than The 101, You Can Go Online And Check Out A Map For Yourself And Youll Noticed That It Doesnt Curve As Much As The 101 , I Also Found That I Spend Less Gas . Its Your Call , This Is Just A Suggestion. !!!!

yeah that 46 route is nice but i dont know why. better than 101 and 5 for some reason. even tho the trucks get in the way sometimes
Mrs.Renteria 07-13-2007, 12:03 PM It does get scary because the road turns into a 2 lane road and the trucks seem like theyre coming at you . I tend to drive closer to the edge when i pass a truck or i'll just pull over for a sec to let it by , i drive by there very early in the morning so there isnt many trucks on the road .I get car sick very easy so the 101s twists and turns get me sick , and the 46 mainly goes straight.
