I heard that when you are in Jail in Singapore, they shorten your hair even if you are a girl, is this true?

hi, yes, once you're sentenced, you are required to cut your hair. For the female inmates, a few days after the inmate is sentenced, the prison warden will come and take the newly sentenced inmates to an open area and cut their hair with cheap paper scircors. They will cut the fringe just above eyebrows and the back of the hair to just a few cm beneath the ears. It will look exatcly like a china doll in a bad hair cut. It is compulsory, every sentenced inmate have to cut their short, nobody cat avoid that. This is true, because i'm telling that from my personal experience. I hope that answear your question.
