My guy called me last night and he got a special treat for the 4th of July.

Watermelon and Icecream and they cooked out barbeque chicken and hot dogs.....

He is at Childersburg WC and that was a highlight for him since he just recently got to this camp and they didn't do things like that where he was.

Although he is where he is - still it was a good holiday for him too:D !

I'm glad they cared enough to let them have some enjoyment. We forget just how important the little things in life are. I'm trying to be more thankful for a lot of things at this point in my life.

I forgot, GOOD LUCK on the hearing. I should be picking my son up this Monday. The new man should be there for Mr. Williams by then. I didn't have a problem when I went. Feel free to PM me and I will be glad to give you some personal tips I picked up on.

Yank ate 3 hotdogs, and some of the mac. salad! He also ate icecream :), he ate 2 slices of watermelon. The melon gave him a tummy ache. He just isn't use to the fruit. Just an apple or an orange ever now and then. He was still glad about the good food despite the tummy ache from the watermelon.

Yeah, T said that he ate good too...but still wanted to be HOME! I can imagine! I wanted him HOME too! He ate hotdogs and icecream and watermelon...he didn't say anything about his tummy hurting, though...I will have to ask him again when he calls tonight.
