:( I JUST LOOKED MY MAN UP USING THE DEPT OF CORRECTIONS WEBSITE...AND IT SAYS HIS FACILITY HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MTF3...IVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS IN MY LIFE AND MAYBE THATS THE REASON WHY HE HASNT CALLED ME IN A COUPLE DAYS....I WAS GOING TO GO VISIT HIM 2MORROW BUT NOW IM NOT SO SURE......DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT IS? id also like to add that i really could use an answer by 2morrow seeing as im 7 months pregnant and dont really want to make the trip in the assumed 95 degree weather we're going to have in nyc for no reason so if anyone has an answer itbe appreciated:thumbsup:

hi :)yea thanx i googled it too but there really isnt alot of usefull information on the internet about the boat in the bronx....but i called and spoke to someone there so they helped me out a lil bit with directions and stuff....i havent gone on a visit yet cuz ive been kinda busy and its been really hot out and my doctor told me to try and stay out of the heat as much as i could so ill try to go when it cools down at least a lil bit or when the heat advisory isnt so high...

Yes that is the boat. Get directions online to get to 1 Halleck street in hunts point NY. You will have to park your car outside and then walk a few yards to the entrance. You will need to be buzzed in by a CO in order to enter. The visitation procedures are sort of the same as Rikers island. Check the website to see which days youre allowed to visit depending on your husbands last name. Visits are A LOT faster there. usually 3 hours is enough unlike rikers where you have to spend the whole morning to see someone. Be the first to visit and you'll be out by 10am on morning visits.

Additionally, it is FREEZING in there so wear long sleeved shirts. Hope this helps
