I Was Wondering If Any One New If Hazelton Was On Lock Down. My Love One Just Arrived At Hazelton On 13th Of June Last Week And I Haven't Heard Anything.:( :( I Don't Know Much About Federal System So If Any One Could Please Give Me Some Advice It Would Be Greatly Appreciated.:) Also Please Tell Me A Little About Hazelton Far As How They Treat The Inmates. I Would Like To Send Money But Don't Know If It's To Soon Since He 's Been There For Only A Week.

I spoke with my daughters father tonight and that i am aware there is no lock down however last week there was a shanking so they may have been best of luck sometimes they just get depressed and want nothing to do with the outside world.

It is not unusual to not hear from your loved one when they first arrive -
they don't always have access to phones. You can send money anytime and it goes into his account. Once his phone list is approved he will be
able to take money from his account and put it on the phone so the calls will not be collect(and much cheaper). There is info on this site that tells you how to send money to inmates if you don't already know (either by mail to Iowa or Western Union). If he stays out of trouble he will be treated okay. If you can think of anything else you can pm me and I will try to answer.
