seeing as theres so many of us with loved ones on the island i thought we could all post up what facilitys there in and who our loved one is (no names please, just relation) and how long theyve got left in there....as a sort of check in:idea:

HES GOT HOPEFULLY 5 MONTHS LEFT BUT TOMORROW ILL KNOW FOR SURE

im from the bx and my babe its in g.r.v.c. hes been in for 6 months and got 12 more for violation and soon after will be fighting another case

im from brooklyn,my fiance has been on rikers(a.m.k.c)for 3 months hes comming home on probation

hey ladies...nice to see we got something in common due to our men......just updating my post for this section...

my mans been moved to emtc/c-76 to finish off his sentence (he'll be home in october considering good behavior)

My hubby was on the boat in the bx for a month and is now on Riker's at GMDC which he has been there for a month. His there for violating probation and we don't know how long yet until he goes back to court 7/6.:confused:

My BF is in EMTC now and will be there till October 7, then will most likely be moved to Upstate to serve the rest of his parole violation. He will be free June of Next year... PATIENCE PATIENCE. See you on the cisits soon2bmommy my bf is A-L

my BF is at OBCC. i visited him for the first time today and was disgusted by the condition of this facility :( we don't know how long he'll be there for. he's there for violating his probation (DUI)

my boo is in c 95 AMKC and hes still gon 2 court, no idea wen hes comin home =(

my friend was in GMDC but was transfered to the hole for fightin in court...what a dick! now he is in OBCC

hey chonnie glad to hear ur time is almost up. i know how that feelsl its like ur almost there but ur not there yet. my babe did 8 yrs upstate before he caught this new case. i thought that was the end of that but i guess not cause here i am right back on pto

:confused:My Bf Just got sent to the island Last week...Im all confused He was arrested for possesion, was on parole, but parole didnt violate him yet...what does all this mean? His parole is supposed to end in 4/10...We dont know how long hes getting untill his next court date, but im still confussed...why didnt he get violated, and will he be? ...what a nightmare!

most likely he will get violated. sometimes it takes a while but it eventually happens. theres always the possibility that parole is waiting for a decision on the case before they decide to violate him

Yeah, he finally did get violated......Hopefully soon well be finding out how much time he's doing, but for now...visits to rikers seem to be something im gonna have to deal with:( ...was there today, what a hell hole!

well im back!! unfortunately again, this time for a whole different charge, he might be facing a 3-6 as that's what they offered him but he didn't cop out to it, hes in gmdc (c73) and been there since about march (he was in the tombs for a lil bit) well see what happens, but like always im patient but time never does seem to stop for us on the outside does it?

hello ladies! I'm from the bronx and my hubby is in c-76 or what they call emtc until jan 8 for a probation violation-after having not reported for 1 & 1/2 yrs! He was facing two yrs but represented himself in front of the judge and only has 3 months-3 crazy long months ;) to serve.

Hi! My BF was also on parole when he got this new case - it took them about 10-14 days to actually violate him...depends on where the parole is out of and how fast his PO moves. They could also wait to see the outcome of his court date before they decide what and if they are going to do anything while he is on the island...Keep your fingers crossed. Regardless it will all work out! My BF has been on the island for 2 years 10 months tomorrow - copped over 2 weeks ago and still is sitting in the box - not on the bus to upstate yet! Talk about frustrating. Just be patient - take care!:)

My baby is in GRVC and the female Co's are totally outta control. Did you have any bad experiences with the co's in there?

My baby was in Obcc (the box) then got transfered to GMDC then went back to the box and now he is in GRVC (beacon) which is the freakin worst. Hate it in there hate the CO's. Can't wait till he go up. He has 5 years and supposedly will do 8 months for every year so he has about 32 months left to go. No end in site yet.

ive been to every building and ive never had a problem with any c.os. the only time i did was a few months back with the driver. u guys know the young dude that acts like hes still in the hood?! luckily hes no longer driving.
