My best friend's sister went to Sandals in Jamaica for her honeymoon. She hated Jamaica but loved Sandals. She said she'd go back in a heartbeat and loved that really virtually no money was spent once she got there except for the times where she left the resort and bought souvineers. Granted, she hated Jamaica for various reasons so she preferred staying within the resort. She said it was well worth the money.

My BF and I and another couple stayed at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios Jan. 2007. It was nice but I wouldn't do the all-inclusive deal anywhere ever again. The food was terrible, we ate at the grill for every meal (burgers, fries, etc) so that wasn't worth it. Other than that the accomodations and the resort was nice.

I have stayed at the Sandals in Jamaica and the Beaches at Turks and Caicos. As mentioned already the food isnt all that good, but it will keep you full. I prefer a small, less structured environment where I can actually experience the culture of where ever I am staying. All these huge resorts are just small Americanized communities and you wont really experience anything different than can in the US. But, I get them cheap (interliner travel) and take them quite often when time and money converge.
