I am working on forming a support group in Yavapai Country for the families of Sex Offenders who have been convicted. You hear in the paper that they have the community support but what happens after that, where do they turn to next. The main purpose right now is to help newly convicted inmates and their families deal with what they need to know about dealing with ADOC. Also I would be here in case someone just wants to talk and who understands what they are dealing with. You see I have been dealing with a sex offender in and out of prison. You see my husband is back in because of his probation so I know what most people are going though. As I get working on this support group I will be working on helping these guys when they get out with a place to stay like a half-way house if necessary or programs that they will need for their probation. I am hoping with this program I can put some inmates minds at ease that their families will be getting some support on the outside and use the initial beginning period to get adjusted to being in prison.
