I have to admit to being a Margarita Freak, but have recently discovered the wonderful Tequila Sunrise!!

The strangest named cocktail that I have ever seen was in a bar in Bali and it was called "A Strawberry B*stard" - Blew my blinking head off and gave me three day hangover!! :faint:

I like Gin Rickeys and Mojitos. But Margaritas are always good too.

Gin, lime, soda water and cane sugar syrup. The mojito was a Cuban version of the Gin Rickey, made with rum instead.

Margaritas are my favorite! Long Island Ice tea, kamakazi, rattlesnakes, 7-n-7, crown, wet pu*s*, etc are good also.

Definitely a Margarita for me. I love Long Island Ice Tea as well, but so many people do not make them right and if I have a bad cold, there is nothing like a Harvey Walbanger to fix me right up. Of course can't drink too many of them, but oh well....

Windsor and diet, and when I'm upset and have money to blow A long island ice Tea.Once spent 180.00 and recieved the bar record for the most long island. 22 of them which is 88 shots! I lived so i feel I'm here for a reason!

Has anyone tried a Singapore Sling? - they are quite nice, very tropical!

Never tried a singapore sling, but have heard naught stories about that kind of stuff. LOL

I use to drink whisky and pink lemonade when I was younger....and a much heavier drinker.

Oh I just remembered, I also like hurricanes.

Whilst I was in Galveston I had a taste of a Cosmopolitan and it was so dry it nearly turned my face inside out!! Wow!

Dragging this thread back up again as I have now been trying out Daquiris and think they are pretty tasty. I just love doing this research!

I was in Bali a couple of years ago and had a drink called a "strawberry bastard", which knocked me off my barstool!!

However my real discovery lately has been a wonderful Gin called "Hendricks" pretty expensive but delicious!

I love Cosmos also. Now I am stuck on Blueberry Martinis at Outback Steakhouse. OMG they are sooooo good!
