What are jacket numbers? I am new to this. I called about my husband's pin number and the leutenant told me his jacket #. Is that his DCC #?

Any Advice appreciated. ittybittykitty 06-12-2007, 04:00 PM Bugg, I'm not sure BUT I think their ADC file is called their Jacket.And that file should have a number .....possible the Jacket Number the Lt.talked about.To my understanding you can not see their jacket.....in the past I think it was possible but I THINK a bill was passed a few years ago that prohibits anyone from seeing it,including the inmate.Only ADC officials have the rights to see.BUT I could be WAY WRONG here.....so if someone else knows better please tell us:) Behind the Walls 09-25-2008, 10:50 PM Jackets are the inmates records at the unit some of them have more then one because they have either been locked up along time. The jacket contains the record of everything on that inmate including his free world charges, case history, Medical information, classification history, everything about him The Lt. my be talking about his class which determines what kind of jobs they can do if any. Inmates can put in a request and are allowed to view there records. |
