Does anyone have any info they can share about the Keele Street Community Correctional Centre Halfway house in Toronto? Thanks!

Robert here!, Keele sucks! You can go there yourself and check it out, it is the top floor of the post office.

Basically it is run by Corrections Canada, even the staff are in uniform. It is a house that takes anyone in the Toronto area turned down by the privately run halfway houses.

My advice, is upon arrival at the Keele Centre, DO NOT trust any of the inmates period. They keep 10 beds open for rapist and child molestors, some of the guys there are super high risk to offend inmates. Downstairs is the Intense Supervision Parole Office, and all the Corrections Canada Pysch Office.

The Police Station is behind the building. Some inmates can only leave with an escort!

With that said, there are also inmates, who have to go to a halfway house but don't have house support. They may not have applied, or have a lengthy record, or most likely their parole officer FxxKed up their paperwork and didn't support them. (very common!)

My advice; if your husband ends up at Keele Centre, as soon as he has a pass out of the house, he can go to The Archibald halfway house on Sherbourne, just north of College. Talk to Art, he runs all three halfway houses in a row there.

They are run by the Salvation Army, Art is actually a really good guy, very religious but doesn't push it on anybody. When you are on day-parole, or statutory release, but already on the street, and within Toronto, it is very easy to transfer out of Keele to one of Art's halfway houses.

If your husband has employment lined up, it may be a huge plus for him to be employed. Keele Centre is as different as Milhaven Max and Camp are different, compared to Keele and Archibald.

Keele even have security officer (IPSO) that when you are on a pass, they may show up and hide, looking to see if they see you where you are supposed to be! Afew of the inmates there will also be hardcore RATS!, which is why I stated not to trust anyone! Because you will not know who is who there.

my bf was supposed to go there and instead just kept on trucking, he didnt want to be around rape hounds and child molesters.
