can any one tell me how i get cdc and housing location for my man hes in lancaster state prison and i have been able to get this info im going crazy trying to get a letter to him

my man is also in lancaster. first, call (916) 445-6713, i was on hold for 20 minutes, so it might take awhile. give them his full name and birthdate, they will give you his CDC number. Then call (661) 729-2000 and press 0 to talk to the operator, ask to be transfered to "inmate records" the ask give you his housing location will ask for his CDC number.

Does anybody know how long they have to stay in reception for. My fiance has been in reception for over 3months and still hasn't seen his councelor yet, but has been given his release date of September 13th. Is this normal? Any advice would help.
