Luckily a fellow inmate's family called me and told me that there are some issues with the phones tonight. Apparently some callers are getting a message that says they need to set up an account.

I called GTL and they gave me my balance and they told me they have been having system issues this evening. They said they expect the issues to be resolved by 5:00 PM tomorrow evening (Saturday).

UPDATE: I was on the phone with GTL most of the day and it appears to have been resolved. I got my phone calls!
