I just received the visitation form from my husband today and filled it out and mailed it. How long does it take to get approved?

about 30 days. atleast mine took 30 days but ive heard of others getting approved in 2 weeks or even longer than 30 days! hope you get ur approval soon.

Yard D is on lockdown can they still have visitors or not while on lockdown?

When they are out of reception how long are the phone calls and if yard D is on lockdown can they have visitors?

phone calls are 15 minutes.

Does anyone know if Lancaster is accepting transfers right now? My man is at CSATF and put in a transfer to CSP Lancaster. What level does this facility go up to?

Yeah that's what I heard and thought too :confused: ...I guess we'll have to wait and see....I dunno...I don't think he knows either...:confused:

has anyone visited lancaster yet? i finally was approved and i want to go and see my hubby on sunday. I know i need to call friday to get an appointment is it difficult to get an appointment? What is it like visiting? What are the pocedures? any info would be great. My husband is in D yard reception thanks guys!

my man was in lancaster for 3 months and i was only able to see him 2 times. the call to make an appointment always varied. sometimes i would get through in 8 minutes and one time it took 2 hours!!! but the co's are pretty cool and laid back. visiting is behind glass for 1 hour.

OMG I'am so frustrated! Ive been trying all morning long to get a hold of someone at 916-445-6713 in order to get my friends CDC # and the dumb line is always busy!! Can someone please tell me what else can I do? besides spend 5 hrs. trying to talk to a "beep..beep...beep"!!!

Question for you guys?? How often do you have to update the visiting list for the NEW Folsom prison?? I did it 2 yrs ago and now next month I am going up there so do I have to resubmit everything??? Please let me know!:confused:

Luvn the only thing i can suggest is try and call when it might not be busy. i would think around 10:00 or around 1:00 people are at work and cant call at those times. I am sorry it is taking so long i was on the phone for about 30min before someone picked up. hope this helps

Can anyone share with me how the mail in reception is running these days? I have a good friend who is in reception he has been moved three times in the last three weeks. I heard from him two weeks ago and at that time I sent him some books and mail supply he was moved so I had the wrong building number but he is on the same yard I guess my question is will his mail follow him even though he has been moved to another building? How long is the mail taking for the reception especially when they are being moved so often? By the way R&R sucks:angry: :angry: I sent him two books over a week ago and they could'nt tell me anything even though Barnes and Nobles said it was sent back on the 15th of june. Any thoughts???

yes their mail follows them, but it takes quite awhile to catch up. The mail has been taking about 1 1/2 weeks for him to get. Sometimes 2.

THANK YOU pOOKS143!! i SENT HIM BOOKS AND MAIL SUPPLIES BUT HE WAS MOVED TWICE BUT STILL ON THE SAME YARD HE'S IN RECEPTION HAVE YOU EXPERIENCE THIS??

yeah, i just send everything to the physical adress now, it gets there so much quicker compared to the p.o box
