I think this is a crime in itself. They are cutting medical care in the prison. They should be cutting the salary of the wardens and other administrative staff. Just because these human beings are in prison doesn't make them any less deserving of good medical care. I understand that the care isn't that great as it is. My son has been in a prison for over a month and is supposed to be receiving medical care and rehabilitation so he can be as normal as possible and isn't getting anything yet, and now they want to cut medical costs more? That is crazy! I wish I were a person with large money resources! I would fight this system to the bitter end!

And if I had the money resources I would be right there with you! I will be soo glad when my fiance gets out so I can leave this prison stuff alone!! Every time its sumthin else, next thing you know they'll be cutting down on the meals (which is next to nothing), visitation and everything else!

Food services is the other thing that they are going to cut down on from I hear around. I know that my son is really hungry and it is costing me a fortune to send him money for food and other things. They are treating these people worse than dogs. As a matter of fact, I have to dogs that I treat as family. I realize that our folks are not in a hotel, but they deserve to be treated the same way the everyone else expects to be treated. To bad the prison systems don't feel the same.
