is it possible to go to rikers for DUI/OUI (not sure of the difference ;) if so, is it really that bad? i heard horror stories *sigh*. my man might have to go there and i'm scared to DEATH for him!

He will only go if he isn't ROR'd or if the judge sets bail and he doesnt post it. Rikers can be rough but depends on which jail he goes to. Did you find out yet?

Well i agree with him it all depends on which jail he goes to in rikers. I pray he doesnt go to OBCC.LOL its scary and they treat visitors like criminals lol. but if he is very calm they will just send him to a calm place. but if he acts up and he wants 2 fight they will send him 2 OBCC were its no joke

Its possible to go to Rikers for anything. Usually the person goes from the precinct to the court for arraignment. If they are not arraigned that night or if its a Friday and you have to wait till monday, Rikers Island will be it for them.
