I had a brilliant idea(or at least I thought it was a brilliant idea!) LOL while lying wide awake in bed this morning(5:30 am!). For some reason, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't seem to get to sleep. I just felt restless! Anyway, I remembered someone mentioning that she liked to write short stories! Well, I do too, although it's been a while, and I figured perhaps there were some other's on the board that had good imaginations, and would like the opportunity to explore their creative side!
I remembered this exercise we did in a creative writing class once, where one person would begin to tell a story, and then pause at just the right moment, and allow the next person to take over where he/she had left off, and so on and so on, until the story was complete! Sometimes, it ended up going in an entirely different direction, then we had anticipated, and the ending left all of us surprised!
I was thinking that we could do something similar, only we would create a main character that we could all relate to, and the story would have a prison related theme! It could be dramatic, sad, funny, romantic, erotic, or even a combination of all of these elements! When it was done, we could share it with our inmate loved ones/friends! Perhaps they might even play a role in the story! I think that they would get a kick out of that! Sooo, what do you all think? If you are all up for it, I could get us started, OR perhaps one of you ladies would like to begin???? Let me know! I think this could be a lot of fun!
