I just found out that my ex husband (father of my 19 yo daughter) died last week. According to a letter i got from his niece, it was due to injuries recieved from a beating by guards. Does anyone know anything about this? I want to have some details before I have to tell my daughter that her father is dead. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would call the prison and ask to speak to the chaplin and ask about his death.

my son is at bibb and i am always scared that something like this will happen.i know that it does go on.you can bet they will do everything they can to cover it up if it did happen.i should hear from my son on saturday.please keep us updated on what you find out.my prayers go out to you.

I am so sorry for yours & your daughter's loss. My hubbie is also there and I worry about him daily. He is in C block. Where was your ex at? I am really worried now because I haven't heard from my hubbie in almost 2 weeks and it is SO UNLIKE him not to write or call.

I am very sorry for your loss. My brother is there in the E dorm and he had wrote and told me about this happening. It is so sad, I worry about my brother daily. I would suggest writing the chaplin also, but if you get honest answers that is another thing. I pray you found the strength to tell your daughter, praying for you both
