first he needs to send you a form to be approve. once you have been approve you need to call to make an appointment. the number is 661-723-8333 they start making appt for sat and sun on friday at 8am. when you call it will most likely be busy. every now and then you will get a recording when that recording comes on press 0. most of the time you will be disconnected. keep doing it and eventually when you press 0 you will press it at the right time and it will go through. there is only one line and one preson taking appointment times so it takes forever!!!!!!!! the shortest it took me to get through is 2 and a half hours. other times it has taken me 6 hours and by that time all the appt were filled. visiting is easy if you follow the rules. they are posted here somewhere. it is behind glass for an hour. (im assuming he is going to be in reception). if he is not in reception then it is contact visits. the officers are really nice there. hope this helps!

My son is at Lancaster. He just got there Aug 20th. I got a letter from him ......he says he is in 24hr lockdown.

So mailwise I don't know what happens. just in case you don't get mail this might be the reason.

24 hour lockdown does not stop there ingoing or outgoing mail. They just don;t get to use phones, showers every 3 days and no yard.
