View Full Version : when i send an inmate mail how exactly is it supposed to look on the letter front

inmates name and b&c then c/o what i have the address to grvc its 09-09 hazen street but im not exactly sure how its supposed to be formatted. i dont want them to send the damn thing back... can i send envelopes and stamps along with my letter or do i have to do that at the property room at grvc? thanks so much in advance...

thats how i write my letters and they all get recieved by my boyfriend and the last line is correct....if you dont put that it will get sent back...and yes you can mail him stamps envelopes pictures a couple sheets of paper but not a wad of paper lolz if he has comissary money in his account he can also buy stamps and envelopes in his facility but it does help to mail some anyways....hope this helps hun:)

what does it mean b&c number???? which number do i have to include, the offender ID or the NYSID number???

B & C is his Book and case number its 10 digits long. Different from NYSID number

he usually gets my mail and i write his info like this:

inmate name(book n case #)
c/o (name of the center)
and then the adress of the center which u can find on DOC website
