Is there anyone out there who's loved one is currently at the Richard P LeBlanc unit, my husband has been the since September 2006 to complete a 6 month program. He supposed to be released sometime after May 1, 2007, but they say that he started the program late. Is there anyone else going through this simular thing?

Yep. I am going through something similar.

He was supposed to start the program in January, but didn't make it to the Unit until Feburary - due to the ice storm we had. He's supposed to be released after July 1, 2007. It's looking closer to August before we can bring him home. I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying that he's released in July! It's so frustrating because you wait...and wait...oh, and wait some more. Only for the date to come...and then you have to wait again!

Late starts for classes is a problem that is common throughout TDC. It is VERY frustrating when we expect them home by a certain date and then it doesn't happen. Just hang in there --- this too shall pass. Katy

Well they said that he didn't "offically" start the program until December 5 2007, and he will complete the program on June 5, 2007, so hopefully everything will quickly follow. I just hate that I had my hopes up for nothing.
