does anyone one have the number of the phone company that handles the calls for beaumont? all of a sudden my phone wont allow him to call collect. so i need to call that phone company and either set up pre-paid calls or get the collect call back on. please help a.s.a.p:angry:

I would just call the prison and ask them. I found an article that says Unisys is installing and maintaining a new phone system in 100 federal prisons. But, I think your best bet is just calling the prison. Are you getting some kind of message on your phone telling you that the calls can't come through, or has he just not called? My husband is at Beaumont, too, and I believe they may still be on lockdown which means nobody gets to call. Keep your chin up. If you call the prison, they should tell you if it is in lockdown or not and hopefully they should be able to tell you has the phone contract.

It's less expensive if you send money to his commissary account and then he calls you direct. Then you don't have to mess with collect calls.
