this may not apply to some.. but my loved one has been in for 20 years.. and ALOT has changed over those years. So i was wondering.. is there anything that has changed so much that they are\were out of touch with?
I'll answer first..
the internet...he is amazed at how it all works( emails, web cams, instant messages everything) i try to explain all that i can to him about it.

and just the other day, he asked me.. Doesn't people still use type writters?..........
I hate that just because of a wall\fence it keeps SO much out of "his world" being in Seg forever doesn't help either.. anyhow.. what about everyone else? anything?

ya kenney is still amazed and exactly how much can be accessed from the touch of a button. He went in, in 1994 and so the net was just starting to make its way into homes, and just barely. I think I actually got a computer in 1996...
anyhow, he also finds it crazy how nobody doesn't have a cell phone.!!!
He's stayed pretty in-tune with the world surprisingly.

My hubby has been in for 13yrs and has stayed pretty in-tune with the world...When I tell him about everything that has built up in certain areas (like Hoover) he's like wow..He likes the fact I have DSL that way when he calls I can get on the internet and look stuff up for him while he is on the phone..When I tell him the prices of different things sometimes he is like but its this much and i tell him no its this much...
