Hey Everyone~!~ My fiance just got moved from Coastal State Prison to Rogers.... Does anyone know if they have the same procedures for mail and visitation as Coastal does?? Any information would be appreciated...

Hey Ms. Kat~! I finally got my computer working again~!~ Joe told me about Zap getting moved to Rogers~! Im glad that they moved him, but I hope that it isnt too far for his family to drive. It isnt much different than Coastal. You cant take in any paper money it has to be coins only and you have to fill out a little paper everytime that you go to visit. Do you know when you will be able to visit? Talk to you soon~!

The visitation at Rogers is pretty good. There are a few bad eggs, like everywhere else, that would like to spoil your time, but for the most part the atmosphere is relaxed. I wish that we were allowed to walk around the grounds, but that room is the only place that they allow you to go.

I'm up in Ellijay, which is about 4 1/2 hours away, but I visit every other Saturday and each holiday. The holidays at Rogers are good days to visit, people are there first thing in the morning, but seems to leave very early!

You are pretty far.. I go every other Sunday so I doubt that we have ever seen each other. It's a lot easier for me to get away on Sundays because Saturday's are really hectic.. It would be nice for us 3 to meet sometime up there..

Hello All<
I have a big problem with the treatment of my brother which is in Rogers State Prison. He has been ripped off 2 times now by other inmates. Put in the hole for fighting the guy whom was stealing from him. Then placed back in the same room where all the unfriendly thieving is going on. To make matters worse. 6-7 guys are beating the ---out of him now and he can't get his room changed. So he placed himself in protective custody. Rodgers is not a nice place!

my son has been in rogers for 24 months. He has told my daughter that he has ben beaten and treated very badly unfortunatley I am unable to visit are condition really bad there and do the prisoners have any access to computers there? And do all prisoners have to work at something while they are there. I am not familiar with the system.
