I really need your postive thoughts and prayers right now. You are NOT going to believe this...the day before Nancy was to pick up Robert, he called to tell her that they made a mistake and he's not coming home after all. I KNOW that every single one of you can emapathize with this madness. Nancy said she felt like someone ripped out her guts, and they have to tell his children now. I'm heart-broken as well, not only because he's my best friend's son, but he's now my friend as well. He's also my husband's best friend. PLEASE send good thoughts to this amazing family.

wow, sounds just like the prison system.......

tell nancy she is in my thoughts...any hopefully "they'll" get it straight and let her son come home

They said they made a mistake with his time. His couselor did not read his C-File thoroughly and thought he was doing 50% time, when in actuality, he had to do 85%. They even gave him a letter saying that he did more time than he should have. His mom and I thought that that law must have passed that 85% folks went down to 65%, so we didn't stress about him coming home "early". We also figured that they would have caught a mistake, if there was one, much earlier. We were confident that he was coming home because he did his time.

He does have to do 85% and so he won't be home until 2005. We are all devasted, as I'm sure you can all imagine.

so sorry to hear of your friend's son. i am going thru the same thing right now. my son had a release date of 4-13-08. i received a letter from him yesterday saying he has not been given his credits set forth in his plea agreement. here it is friday before and i am trying to reach the judge, his useless attorney, court clerks--anyone. so far, nothing-so i had to vent to you all.
i will keep trying all day. if someone will send an amended abstract-they will release him sunday.
please pray for Erik's immediate release.
