I have a nephew transferred to bibb.he is in b dorm,i was wondering if any of you had loved ones in b dorm and how are the folks in that dorm.we are very new to the prison system.His visitation was taken for 20 days because of a t-shirt left on his bunk:eek: is it really that strict?any sort of info any at all would be greatly appreciated

hi tidefanz,i am on sand mountain.my son was in b dorm until he went into the crimebill dorm in january.it is a six month program and he will graduate in july,GOD willing.then i guess he will be put back in b dorm.you can never tell with them.he has asked to be placed in f dorm,the faith dorm,which is supposed to be a christian based dorm forchristian inmates.but it happens that this is where they put inmates for "protective custody" so i don't know if he will be able to get in there.lost priviliges for a shirt on the bed? well the guards are pretty much asses and will write them up for any little thing.sometimes it is just to try to extort store items from them. i would say that b dorm is no better or worse than the others.they are all pretty much horrible.
