hoffmanmailing 05-17-2007, 10:47 AM I just got a call from my PO and I am to report to Alderson on May 25th by 2:00. They are suppose to send my letter out today via certified mail as confirmation. I just want to thank everyone on here!!!!!!! This has been my sanity over the past 8 months, and I appreciate all of the info, support and groundation I have received here.
SCMom 05-17-2007, 12:22 PM Julie...they sure didn't give you very much time to report did they?
As for PTO helping you keep your sanity, that is what we are here for; to support and help each other!!!
Good luck to you and God Bless and keep you in his arms during this journey!!
:grouphug:
And this is what we will do when you get out  (a special toast!!!)
hoffmanmailing 05-17-2007, 01:09 PM Thank you, SCMOM. They didn't give me much time, but I am thinking that is a blessing in disguise. I can't wait to have that toast with you!
steph0219 05-17-2007, 01:26 PM Julie,
I know you don't know me but I wanted to wish you a safe trip and good luck... I am awaiting my sentence so I am under the "what am I getting" game....You at least now know what you have to serve and can get it over with... I hope someone in your family stays in touch with PTO and lets us know how you are doing....
hoffmanmailing 05-17-2007, 02:07 PM Thank you Stephanie, and good luck to you in your journey. My daughter knows how to access the sight and post. I will have her post updates from time to time. Thanks and yes it is very nice to be on the downside of this.
lyndav 05-18-2007, 12:58 PM Good luck to you Julie.
My daughter is at Alderson until next Spring.
I will be there when she is out until the following Spring.
SCMom 05-18-2007, 02:03 PM Julie...of course I will be looking forward to that toast, even if it has to be online and no alcohol for you (don't want you to get in trouble!). When you are able to be back online, we will set an exact time to do our little toast....with tea, water, pepsi...whatever!!!
krummy 05-22-2007, 11:05 AM hoffmanmailing---I just want to drop in and say how sorry I am that you are facing this new chapter in life. I hope that your time will be swift and as easy as it can be for these sort of things. May God be with you as you go through this stage.
hoffmanmailing 05-23-2007, 06:31 AM Krummy
Thank you for your kind words. I do have to say that I have reached this chapter in my life by my own actions and lack of good decision making. But I am thankful that I will be reaching the new, better part of my life with a lot of help from wonderful supportive people and defenetly not by myself. It's a hard place to be, but I have found that and do believe it could be a lot worse and continue to believe that God makes things happen for a reason. And I can't wait to see what he has instore for me. Thank you once again for your kindness!
BrandNewGirl 05-23-2007, 07:18 AM Julie, your post above is why you will succeed! Look forward to seeing you back at PTO, posting about your experiences!

PS. I've never posted to you before, but you touched me with your positive attitude.

I would love to make that toast with you as well (w/o alcohol for me too). When we get home we can share and make up soap recipes!
Best wishes and keep you head up!

I have always been partial to Kool-aid anyways. lol

faith07 05-23-2007, 01:37 PM hoffmanmailing,
I forgot to mention what my son's father told me the other day. He said "Although I will spend 5 months away it is actually 2 days, the day you go in and the day you get out. Everything else is inbetween and that's when you reflect and plan on your future".
I've reflected and planned already however I understood what he meant. He can be a sweetheart sometimes.
Im looking goward to work with you on the soap! Take care also and God loves you very much!
krummy 05-24-2007, 09:46 AM Julie good luck to you as you leave today. I hope eveything turns out so good for you. Please come back to us when you return.
hoffmanmailing 05-24-2007, 10:03 AM Thanks Krummy I will. You take care and God Bless on your journey too.
