While locked down, I learned to tool leather. Recently, I started a little shop in a garage apartment behind my home. I have been putting free ads in all the local shoppers hoping to drum up some business. I finally sold my first Bible Cover last week for $50.00. I have all my tools, airbrushes, dyes, sewing machine, ect...I need more patterns tho...I wish I would have made some before being released...how foolish of me. If anybody knows of someone that would like to buy wallets, clutch purses, roper wallets, shoulder bags, bible covers, checkbook covers let me know please. Thx a million

Bill if you can get a bunch of "stock" made ahead and take them to flea markets I would think you can have a pretty good thing going there. Around here June and July start the little towns having these type of meetings with all type of vendors coming in. The down side to that is that you would have to reserve a spot and rent space but some of them do so well that they do noting else. An idea for "patterns"-I knit and I typed in knitting patterns and found several with free patterns-you have to sort through a lot of garbage with free sweater patterns but I would think with leather things there wouldn't be that much bad stuff out there.

Hey Bill...my husband piddles in the leather shop at Hughes. You might want to try Ebay! Good Luck.

Ty both for the great ideas...what I need is the cardboard patterns he uses, Deb for insides and the outside leather pieces...I wonder if he could make me some...I'll pay him for his time...mine got thrown away when I lost my piddling card and went to lock up on Terrell Unit.
