My son is perhaps being moved to Leavenworth. We heard that they were building a new building. Is this true, does anyone know? We new they went from a maximum to medium and he is currently max. anu info would be great. thanks the newbe mother

Is this for federal charges, or military charges? There are 4 prisons in the area. If federal, you might want to check in the federal forum. If military, they had a new facility in 2002, but I do not know of any new facilities under construction. Double check though.

The prison being built is a Military Prison.
