For those of you who've replied in this forum and have wondered why I'm absent of comment...I'm just absent.
Isabel tore up my neighborhood. House is in one piece, electric meter hanging by a frayed root, attached at the other end to the top part of the pole that exploded before it launched itself into a neighboring tree.

Our measly neighborhood is way down the to do list for repair, it seems.

I'll be back when I can... Or if I'm invited over here for dinner again soon.
