I'm looking for an attorney to help a friend with post-sentence reduction in MI. I appologize if this is not the right place to post. I am at a loss at how to go about finding a good attorney that has experience in filing 6500 or 6.429 motions. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks You

I only know three I would tell you to run screaming away from. PM me if you want those names. Honestly, my experience with MI criminal attorneys has been deplorable. If there ARE some good ones out there, I'd sure like to know, too.

I've heard very good stories of James Sterling Lawrence. He has an office in Detroit and another in Troy.

Melissa Redman in East Lansing is good.

Patricia Maceroni out of Mt. Clemens. I hired her and she's the only one who actually took the time to read over his entire case and come to the conclusion that he had very poor representation with the court appointed attorneys.

Best I know:

Ken Mogill (Lake Orion) 248-814-9470

Craig Daly (Detroit) 313-963-1455

Please be aware that the type of motions which you are talking about are among the VERY most difficult to win. Best of luck....
