My man was just moved to CVSP "C" Yard from Chino East.... Any info would be kindly appreciated. Will we get contact visits immediately? I probably won't be able to see him until the weekend of the 19/20th.

I also want to say thanks to everyone who corresponds on these messages boards. I have found your info to be more accurate than my mans at times. No offense to him it's just that you are all out here and more or less know what's going on. Thanks again for helping me out.

If he's been classified already then you will have immediate contact visits if he hasn't been classified then you'll have to wait approximately 10-14days sometimes less. Weather up there is getting real hot and humid. Visits are pretty laid back just gotta be on the look out not everyone is always lucky :) if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask...and welcome to PTO....

Jay1 you said we will be in the same visiting room if I am on C yard.... what is the visiting room like? Can you give more detail? I have never had contact visits, this environment is all new to me. What is the wait time like to get in? I have a medical condition and cannot be in the heat too long. I want to prepare myself. Thanks for your help.

Well the visiting room is like a big cafeteria with lots of tables and vending machines. They also have a patio outside with tables and some kind of shade etc... but if you have a condition I would recommend you stay inside cause although they have shade outside it still gets too hot, I was in the patio this past weekend and I have no condition at all and I felt like I could have fainted cause of the humid air we had to go sit inside for remainder of the day and I had to wet a towel and put in on my face cause I was feeling weird. Inside is way cooler and they have fans so it's not too bad. Other than that it's pretty cool just make sure you get your food when you get there cause they run out of the good stuff well it's not that good but there it is so just get your table first then your food and drinks and you should be fine. The wait to go in depends on the time you get there. I usually get there Friday night so I'm there when the car line starts moving at 7:30am. Then you have to get in line again until the prison opens which is at 8am. You'll know what line I'm talking about once you get there and see people run to the line. So I'm in the visiting room waiting for him to come out at about 8:15am. Process is pretty fast well it is for me since I'm usually under # 10. He comes out about 15-20 minutes later and if it's sooner than you're lucky lol. Then all you do is have a good visit oh and if you want pictures you have to purchase them at the lobby while being processed they are $2.00 each and can get up to 5 photo ducats.
