<happy sigh> It was absolutely wonderful! Such a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere; a stunning warm sunny day... I'm going again next weekend - there was no accommodation in Glen Innes due to the Celtic Festival so I could only see him for one day.

As per usual, the Gods seem to be smilin' on him - he's landed a cushy office job & a single cell in one of the good units, everyone's taken a shining to him, and he's got all sorts of projects & programs in the pipeline already.

Wow, that's so nice to hear that you had some special time together. You've waited long enough for it. Sounds like JD is on the right track and making the best of things too. His time will seem to pass quicker now that he has things to do. I'm really happy for both of you.
