Ok, so i am a little cofused, and VERY fusterated and upset. My husband got moved to Prodo fire camp yesterday, and i was all excited cause i would be able to see him this weekend, and haven't seen him since our family visit in Feb. in Jamestown. Soooooo, this morning i called to make sure that he would be able to receive visits this weekend, being that he just got there. The lady that i talked to was very nice, and i am greatful for that cause if i had talked to some cranky person, i would have not been so nice. So, she tells me that i need to renew my visiting form. She said that it needs to be done every two or three years. And i say, what do you mean 'renewed'?? I have been visiting my husband for FOUR years, and no one has never said anything to me about that. If i had known that i needed to renew my approval, i would have done it lonnnngggggg ago. I mean, i totally understand the need to reapply, in case that someone gets busted for something that makes them not inelegable for visits, by why didn't anyone tell me that sooner?? I was so excited to see him this weekend, and now i have to wait to be approved? *blah*

Anyone else off on Saturday?? My schedule just opened up and have nothing to do. lol

Usually you can visit and just up date your visiting form while you are there... I have never had to re new my visiting application... and wait... but I have had to up date it while I was at visits.. while i was being processed they asked me to update my visiting application... gave it to me and said I can give it back after visits... and thats exactly what I have done... it works out nice...

Remember...all camps are different. They usually do not process visiting applications. They get sent to Jamestown for processing. So, right on the spot updating may not be possible. Try calling again at a different time, like later tonight or better yet the day of visiting at see if you get a different answer. You still may have to update your application, but they just may let you visit that one day. It doesn't hurt to try!

I got to go see him on saturday, and they let me fill out a new application there. :) We also found out that we had to reapply for family visits, which i suppose is ok, but we are eager to have one. :) So, all my fusteration is gone, and i am ok now....

and it is 15 minutes from me, not 20!! WOO HOO!!! :)
