Thank you. pooks143 05-13-2007, 12:21 PM How long does reception usually last there? and after reception, do they stay in lancaster? myhusbandswifey 05-14-2007, 08:01 PM My husband was in lancaster for reception for 60 days, then he was sent to Susanville! It varies by individual, but the counselors usually say about 90 days. No they do not always stay there. yogijack 05-15-2007, 07:36 PM My boyfriend was just transferred to Ironwood about a week ago. He was in reception for a little over 90 days. t_r818 05-15-2007, 10:17 PM I read this off of the CDCR website PDF file : State of California California Code of Regulations Title 15. Crime Prevention and Corrections Division 3 Rules and Regulations of the Director of Corrections Updated through 12/31/2004 that:TITLE 15 DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS § 3076.2 (e) Transportation Arrangements. (1) An inmate’s transportation upon release shall be arranged by the facility, unless a private party has contacted the facility at least three days before the inmate’s scheduled release, has offered to provide transportation, and the facility has approved the arrangement.
