Yesterday, I recieved a letter from Karen, I started to read it and nothing in the contents of the letter made any sense to me. Then I got to the part where it said, please dont talk about any of this with her < me >. "Because she doesnt need any more hassles or drama." I looked at the envelope and it was addressed to her ex, but at my address!!! Why would I think that she had addressed it to any one else, besides me, cause it was sent to my house < and I live alone>. And I'm her girlfriend.....Now, I know why she isnt asking me for money. Because her ex is sending her money. So, out of the kindness of my heat and since no one else will do it. I will drive 6 hours for her to see her daughter. And it will end up with us fighting, again, over her ex. 6 hour drive for that????

I would tell her she sent you the wrong letter, I would want to know what was up with that. What isn't she telling you...?

I'd go and visit and we'd have some talking to do. Trust is very important to me. Are you ok with her writing her ex? I would have a problem with that and we'd be discussing that, but that's me... Be honest with her about her feelings and good luck...

Man, I'll bet she's gonna wish she had paid attention on that one! This post is about a month old, so I hope you've had the chance to talk with her and get things straightened out between the two of you by now. Update us, please. I'm sorry I didn't see this at the time it was posted. I've had computer problems off and on and this one slipped by me for some reason at the time you posted it.
