Over the last couple months I have noticed that there is a growing rate of requests to delete both Posts and Pictures here on PTO. I understand that we often say things we would like to change, or no longer want a picture avail. for all to view.
PLEASE take a little more time and consider what you are about to post or upload.
The reason is two fold.. 1. When we delete or edit posts in a thread, it often ruins or complicates a thread for others who are later viewing it. Deleting the thread all together erases time and thought others have put into the same thread before or after the post that will be deleted. This isn't fair to everyone else who has participated.
2. It is time consuming to accommodate everyone in deleting posts and pictures. This site is volunteer and not a business. My time is limited as are the times other moderators have to assist me. I don't mind doing this when it is warranted and there is a real reason behind it.
