Did anyone see the story Re: Jessica Lynch? Seems she confessed that the only truth was several Marines risked there A**'s to save her life. Funny but my boy was there and told me this story when he came home in July of 03. Everyone thought he was "full of crap" but I guess someone else was. I'm not saying that she isn't due the same gratitude and respect as all others that have served but, I'm saying that someone should be ashamed of themselves for making the story up. That girl had to live a lie for 4 years thanks to someone that wanted to shift the focus of the american people.

Forgive me, I was wrong! It was not several marines as they were ready to go in and then for "Political" reasons they sent Army "Delta".

From the beginning people said she didn't do anything exceptionally brave - I thought she did too? Maybe I remember wrongly.

from what i read, her weapon jammed which was a sign that she didnt take good care of it over there. she was at the right place and time for the army to use her. i feel bad for everyone who had to go over there based on false pretense.

It is shameful that this administration used Jessica Lynch as an end to their means of getting support for this unsupported war.
