:angry: I am not sure where to post this but I am hopeing someone can help me. My husband was transferred to Bibb on the 10th of April, he did not get his list approved for the 14th visit, so I have been looking forward to the 28th visit and as of today still no word. I called the facility and of course the visitation officer is out and no one can tell me what the issue is other than it has not been approved. I have heard rumors that they are getting ready to ship some of the guys to LA, and that might be why his list isn't approved yet.

Also, he has not received his slip back approving his incentive package for May and he has nothing on his record to keep that from happening.

I am just really frustrated at the moment, it has been over a month since we had visit.

Did they say when the visitation officer would be back? When did he put in for the approval to get the package? They may wait until May 1st to give him his approval on his package, I have heard of that happening before.

they may make you start buying the poor quality and overpriced good from the state. hopefully not this time, I bought nice things, but I guess they can be returned.

:idea: Thanks for your reply yesterday I did talk tohim last night and he did get his slip back for his package but not the visit list. I called today and talked to the visitation officer and she told me they were still processing the lists of recent tranferees, she did get his name and asked that I call back tomorrow and see. So I guess that is better than NO.

at Bibb c.f. you have from may 1 thru may 15 to get that package in there, it cant be late and only what he wants on the list. now the visitation should have already been approved. Do you or anyone on his list have a felony against them? if so, that might be whats taking so long. I hope not I go every other week, I get to go in the morning, cant wait!!!!
