Oh my God....is everyone like me...thinking of Bookworm's big day? Just a wake up away! I am SO EXCITED for her!:yay: She has been preparing for months..and now, is just literally hours away! I am praying for the perfect visit for her & Steven. I wonder what she's doing right now? Probably a nervous wreck...God bless her. My baby said you can see into the visiting yard going through to chow (or somewhere). I told him to try & get a peek for me!:) And if he see's her...call me immediately!:p I want to know how everything is going...even if just the expression on her face. I know it's going to be awesome! I meant to give her my number before she left out. I was hoping we could meet up. If anyone here hears from her...PLEASE, PLEASE let us know! :grouphug:

it's 7:05... wonder if she is standing at the gate already waiting to get in???? I bet she is SO nervous she's bout to PUKE!!!!!!!
Within the hour, she will get her visit..... MAYBE they will have a good visit.. i know she has been all about it now for months! she has my number but didn't call... I had told her to call when she got close to Bham and we could meet up for lunch.. maybe someone will hear from her soon.
Can't wait to hear how it all went!

Its 759 now -- she's in there already, I'm sure!!!! I am sending good luck vibes her way. I hope its going wonderfully and that they are just blissfully happy with each other! Oh, I just LOVE first visits!!!!!!! :-D

That is so kool, I hope lisa has an amazing time! I know how excited she has been about today! I'll be worried sick when I go for the first time!

Haven't heard back from my sweetie today....hmmmm, wondering if he remembered to sneak a peak for us...see how things were going. When is she supposed to be back home? I know they were making a vacation of it...checking out some sites along the way? I'm soooo ready for details! First visits are the best! The first time I went to visit...he had told me that I would probably be in the room ...before they brought him in. WELL, he must have RUN down...because I was waiting to get him a few things out of the machine before they let me in...when I turned around...there he was! Already in the room! I stepped over behind the pole where he couldn't see me! LOL. I was supposed to be able to check him out first! LOL. Still, it was SOOOO SWEET! I went in there & gave him a big hug & a kiss! Magical...absolutely magical! It was if FINALLY...I'm united with the love of my life! Everything just fell into place. It was if we were the only ones in the room (on the planet even!) Every visit is still just as exciting!

He called...said he looked in the visiting room when he walked down through there...but didn't see them. He even asked some of the CO's about it...but the ones he talked to didn't know anything either. Soooo...I guess we'll just have to wait for her to come back & fill us in.

4 more days and ms Lisa should be home, to dish all the details!( April 30th)

2 days & a wake up until we know anything! The 30th is when she'll be back, right? :)

I did find out through a letter from my loved one that her friend that went with her to visit also( with a different person) didn't get to visit... that they "misunderstood" the name of the person she asked to visit, and turned her away...<shrug> but i havent heard from Lisa yet. I know she got to visit, because someone told my loved one that they saw her as she was leaving... maybe she will be around sooon.

I think that maybe she is so happy that she can't bring herself to type! or she was like hell, I aint going home I love bama way too much!

Gosh...starting to get a little worried. I hope everything went ok for her visit. That sucks about her friend getting turned away...over something so crazy as a misunderstanding. Especially after coming such a long, long distance. I'm leaning on the "No news is good news" theory.
