The dates for the care packages are May 1st thru May 31st. You can start sending packages on May 1st. If you plan on sending your package later, the package must be postdated no later than May 31st. They will not accept packages after May 31st.

**The inmate has to receive aproval before receiving package.

The list of stuff they can receive is:

6 pair of boxers
6 t-shirts
2 shampoo's
2 conditioner's
2 face/wash cloths
1 body towel
6 pairs of socks
4 deoderants
2 bottles of lotion
4 bars of soap
2 toothpastes
2 toothbrushes
2 ink pens
2 writing tablets
They can also have envelopes and stamps.

The above is a general list of stuff they can have. Each facility can add things to that list such as hats, sweat pant/shirts, shorts, etc.

I also got the dates may 20-may 30.does it matter what date the package gets there as long as it is mailed between those dates?since I am mailing it from germany it might take longer than 10 days.

It is really hard doing everything from VA

Fountain has postponed their package.I heard they are trying to get a company where we order it through like with the food . It is so wrong cause alot of people have already spent eighty to hundred dollars for the package and will be haveing to pay more when it is returned to them. They don't care.. I have no idea when they will get there stuff together.

I have heard Staton my make us order from a set company too. I am sure they will have "quality" merchandise at a "low" price.

I sent my sons package to Ventress on May first. He sent me a Mother's Day card and letter today and said he has already been given his package! They seem to be getting pretty quick with this. We can only hope.:o :o :o

I mailed my son's package to Ventress May 1st, and he received it May 3rd. He was called in before they opened it and allowed to be there while they went through it. He got all the items I sent. I was surprised they did that. I had sent a list to him earlier to let him know what to expect. I also got 2 Mother's Day cards. Someone drew them for him. They were really nice cards. I hope this is the last Mother's Day he will not be home. I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow!!!!!!

yes, I did....I sent mine via UPS on the 30th...The facility got it yesterday...
